About The LEEDers Cup

Now in its fifth year, the LEEDers Cup event raises funds to support the David A. Gottfreid Scholarship. Established in 2004, the David A. Gottfried Scholarship was created to honor the founder of the US Green Building Council and is presented annually to a student who has demonstrated outstanding achievement toward market transformation and stewardship in their school, community or career field. It is available to students enrolled in school within Brevard, Lake, Orange, Seminole, and Volusia counties.

Registration is open! Click on the link below to complete the event registration form - foursomes as well as individual players are invited to participate.  Plus, there are sponsorships remaining to promote your company/service - a great way to show your support of the USGBC Central Florida Chapter.

The LEEDers Cup is a scamble playing the best ball and will begin with a shotgun start.  There will be contests throughout the tournament such as closest to the pin, longest drive, etc. And, there will be plenty of on-course activities provided by our sponsors with refreshments, followed by a BBQ luncheon and awards presentation at the conclusion of the tournament.

About The Course

Located in Clermont, Legends Golf and Country Club is a beautifully manicured 18 hole course that stretches nearly 7,000 yards and is a test of any golfer’s skill at par 72. You will constantly be impressed with both the challenge of this excellently designed golf course and the scenic beauty of the area with its rolling hills and magnificent views of Lake Louisa.
