The Central Florida Chapter Mission

To have a positive impact on Central Florida’s environment, economy, and social well being by:

  • Promoting green and sustainable design, construction, and operation of buildings.
  • Developing green and sustainable building standards, design practices, and technologies.
  • Outreach and education to our members and communities.

Who We Are:

We are a group of dedicated professionals from all sectors of the building industry. We are Owners, Developers, Architect & Engineers, Contractors, Product Representatives and other concerned citizens. We promote a professional green movement that is both responsible and financially successful. Green Building is no longer a fad or a trend. Our commitment is to transforming the market to one that designs and builds smarter, creates sustainable communities, and illustrates the profitability of building green.

Our Chapter is volunteer based, consensus driven organization which consists of Officers, Board of Directors and Committees. Our Chapter Bylaws can be downloaded for your perusal and we encourage you to view all the areas of this website to better understand who we are. We strive to be THE resource for all things green building in Central Florida, and consider our role in the community one of education, outreach, liaison, and advocate.

As a diverse Chapter, our membership is a mix of the most dedicated volunteers to those who join for the support and perks- we welcome all.
